Vincent Mboya, a renowned YouTuber and content creator from Kenya, has been taken into custody. Breaking the news to his vast online following, Mboya revealed his impending court appearance.

According to Mboya’s statement, he faces serious allegations of rape and assault. He vehemently denies these charges, assuring fans of his innocence. In his social media post, he candidly expressed,
“Hi guys, I was arrested and am heading to court. I am accused of rape and assault, which isn’t true. Just pray for me guys. In case I will be issued a cash bail or bond, I will ask for your support.”
Mboya’s rise to public recognition came about in a unique way. In 2021, he publicly sought assistance from media figure Jalang’o to cover his rent. However, the relationship took a twist when Mboya later returned the Ksh18,000 to Jalang’o, requesting the now Lang’ata MP to refrain from mentioning him for publicity purposes.
Branching out on his own, Mboya then embarked on creating content for YouTube. His efforts proved fruitful as his channel amassed a substantial following, currently boasting over 207K subscribers.
