White House Celebrated Kwanza Day on the Eve of Yesterdays Boxing Day
African-American Maulana Karenga established Kwanzaa Day in 1966 after the repercussions of the Watts Uprising as a categorically African-American holiday. Karenga’s main objective was to reward African-Americans with a holiday in substitute of Christmas alternatively to give blacks an opportunity to celebrate themselves and their history, rather than just emulate customs of other supreme communities’ way of celebration.
Yesterday on the 26th of December 2022 in his own words President Joe Biden stated that it’s our hope that in 2023 we shall all recall the insight of the seven principles of Kwanzaa, the values of unity and faith in particular, as we assign ourselves to fulfill the obligation of our beloved superior nation real in the lives of every American.
