Popular media personality, Azeezah Hashim, has officially announced her departure from NTV, a TV station owned by the Nation Media Group. After a two-year stint with the station, Azeezah made her exit public on Saturday, August 12, during her last appearance on the show ‘Teen Republik’.
In an emotional farewell, Azeezah expressed her gratitude to her fans and supporters, reminiscing about the unforgettable moments she experienced during her tenure.

“I woke up today and cried several times. Today is my last show on Teen Republik, and I don’t even know how to break this news,”
she shared.
Highlighting the quirks of live television, she humorously mentioned that her wig fell off during her final episode, mirroring a similar incident from her debut episode on Teen Republik.
“It’s been a full circle. My wig fell off during my first show, and it did the same on my last,”
she chuckled.
Azeezah extended her heartfelt thanks to the NTV Management for entrusting her with the responsibility of hosting Teen Republik. “I’ve grown immensely during my time at Nation Media Group. The management took chances on me, entrusting me with responsibilities that many my age wouldn’t typically handle. I’m truly grateful for the trust and opportunities,” she expressed.
She also revealed her plans to take a hiatus from television, leaving fans eager to know about her next venture. Azeezah initially joined the NTV team in November 2021 alongside Joseph Maina, marking the beginning of her memorable journey with the station.
