20 alleged drug dealers were detained in Hai Mauna, Juba.

In the city’s Mauna residential area, the municipal police of Juba have detained 20 suspected drug sellers, including foreign nationals.

Mayor Michael Ladu Allah-Jabu allegedly confiscated the illegal substances and had the drug
dealers detained, according to a statement from the City Council.

According to the city council’s statement, among the several substances discovered for sale
were bongo, opium, marungi, and others.

The statement added, “H.W. the Mayor of Juba City Council Michael Lado Allah-Jabu praised
the work of the Sector to help them to preserve security and protect the people in Mauna.”
Also, the mayor declared his willingness to put in a lot of effort to combat the dangerous
narcotics that are harming Juba City’s next generation.
